The One…
This is my first and last attempt at creating art through painting. The One, is based on the love of my life in South Africa. South Africa is my homeland and will forever be my one home. This painting will be a ‘one of a kind’ art piece and the only one I will ever create in my lifetime.
What to expect
Unlike the Mona Lisa. This painting is nicknamed the ‘Mona Marise’, as she is displaying a genuine smile. The Mona Marise is here to remind us all, that during difficult times, we can all smile.
I hope that this NFT will travel the world from one person to the next and bring everyone who owns it closer to their One.
The One NFT is here to stay and will provide a way for every owner of the NFT to give back once they have found their One.
The original painting will be delivered to the owner of the NFT after it has been displayed in a South African museum and must be sold with the NFT to any future owners of The One NFT.
The One Original is to be displayed in a different museum around the world each year for a period of up to three months at a time. It cannot be displayed in the same museum more than twice in a period of three consecutive years.
The very first museum will be in South Africa and will be picked by the owner for a period of 6 months, thereafter the owner can pick whoever they please, anywhere in the world.
The aim of these events is to generate awareness around the world, that together we are all One and that we can all help each other smile more.
We encourage that 50% of all the proceeds or profits generated through the sale or displaying of The One Original or The One NFT is to be donated to South African small businesses and charities.
